Using Senso.cloud Lock Screen for school-wide alerts

Select how many devices you alert

However, in the event of an emergency or security breach, the Senso Lock Screen feature can be applied to as many devices as needed. You can also write a message and apply this to be shown on every selected lock screen, meaning you can send out a school-wide alert at the push of a button.

Write and autofill messages

If you wish to display a message on a lock screen, you can write a communication and then press the ‘save’ icon. Next time you go to write a message, you can select a list of your saved texts, which autofill’s the selected message to automatically push this out to whichever monitors you are locking the screen of. Perfect for situations where you need to alert people as fast as possible, the autofill feature means you can be swift and efficient when communicating with others.

Silent alarm feature

In the event of a security breach or imminent attacker, discreetness is vital, as to keep students and staff at an advantage. If every computer in a classroom makes a noise when the screen is locked and a message is displayed, this will draw unwanted attention and potentially compromise safety. Therefore, we have made our Senso cloud lock screen feature silent; we hope you never have to use it, but it means that your students and staff stay at an advantage and can send messages without alerting an intruder or attacker.

Choose the scale of your alerts

Depending on the reason for sending out alerts, Senso allow you to customize the scale of your communication. For example, the need for alerts could range from a teacher needing to get their classroom focused on the lesson, to a superintendent needing to alert every school within their district.
